M.A.G Journal is the magazine of Musarthis Art Gallery.
It extends the encounter with artists and artworks through writing, reflection and critical engagement, while maintaining a sensitive, respectful and thoughtful approach to contemporary creation.

The magazine opens its pages to interviews, artist portraits, essays, analyses, thematic features and curatorial notes. The texts aim less to describe than to understand: they question what unfolds within an artistic practice — in a gesture, a material, a process or a thought.

M.A.G Journal is firmly rooted in the present.
It positions itself as contemporary, dynamic and open, attentive to the aesthetic, social and cultural transformations that shape our time. This modernity is never a pose; it appears through active curiosity, thinking in motion and a sincere attentiveness to the diverse voices of creation.

The magazine embraces a forward-looking and plural understanding of art.
It questions its boundaries, languages and territories, and nurtures an ongoing dialogue between different mediums: visual arts, writing, performance, sound, photography, design and emerging practices. Art is approached as a living field of research, experience and transmission.

M.A.G Journal also upholds an inclusive perspective on art.
Recognised practices stand alongside more discreet, emerging or unconventional approaches — provided they carry authenticity, integrity and artistic depth.

Each publication is guided by attentiveness and intellectual delicacy. Artists are considered in the dignity of their journeys, whether well-known or less visible. The magazine values accuracy, depth and restraint, far from superficial logics of trend or cultural consumption.

While M.A.G Journal naturally accompanies the exhibitions of Musarthis Art Gallery, it maintains a clear editorial autonomy. The texts become bridges — between artworks and audiences, between thought and sensitivity, between artistic practices and life itself.

In this way, M.A.G Journal stands as a magazine of art and reflection — a place where art is written with care, and where words illuminate, open and honour creation.
